Averill Ring

Agility became Averill's passion after her husband Ken and she saw a demo at the Philadelphia Kennel Club show in 1995. Presently she trials with their Aussie Frenzy and Border Collie Jolt in AKC and USDAA trials, while Ken shows Jolt in UKC agility. They also have a Cairn Terrier, Ernie, who has become a new agility playmate for Averill; he earned his AKC AX and AXJ in 2005. He made his USDAA debut in 2005, and Averill plans a long agility career for him (hopefully he'll cooperate). Averill is totally addicted to the sport and a year ago brought home yet another Border collie, Jig, who is teaching her different things about dog training and agility than she ever imagined.

When not playing with her dogs or teaching classes, Averill works as a web designer.
