For the past five years, Judy has had the “wild experience” of agility training with Cardigan Corgi, Lucy Lawless. Lucy has been competing for over three years earning 26 agility titles. She has been the guiding force for two first place and two second place Grand Prix qualifications. Whenever one of their buddies is having a not-so-good day, Judy’s advice, “Try running a course with Lucy--that will definitely put a smile on anyone’s face!”

Border Collie Always Right On Annabelle joined the Katzwinkel family in February 2001 through Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue’s adoption program. After competing for two and a half years, Annie too has earned 26 agility titles. Her favorite moments: earning her AKC MACH in July 2005 and qualifying with two of her four-legged friends in the MAD Dog Agility Masters Team Championship in January 2006.

Smokin Col. Jim completed the Katzwinkel herd in July 2006. Jimmy is a very lively and happy border collie puppy who comes from a strong line of herding dogs. He has completed puppy kindergarten at A Click Above LLC training center in Leesburg, Virginia, and is continuing clicker training at the center. Lucy and Annie have both been excellent trainers in preparation for Jimmy’s agility career.

Two years with TAG has afforded the Katzwinkel Herd friendship, fun, and education; it is a great way to meet people and their dogs. After traveling worldwide for 28 years while Ernie served with the U.S. Navy, Judy is enjoying her time as a stay-at-home puppy mom!
