My name is Linda Porter and I have been a member of TAG for four years and a student of Elsie Maylott and Claudia Bates at A Click Above, Leesburg, VA for five years. I live with my husband Jim and six Bearded Collies in Hagerstown, Maryland, and my experience with agility began 6 years ago when I went to watch an agility trial. I was hooked on agility. My dogs are:
BAILEY, CH MACH 2 Oakengates Irish Cream, OF, AAD, ASA, AJ, AS, AR, SG, NAC, O-OJC, O-NCC, TN-E, S-WV-N, O-TG-N, NVA, ROMA. Bailey has attended three AKC Nationals and has been invited and attended two AKC Invitationals.
TOBY, CH Tweeddale’s Day Dream Believer, CGC, OA, NAJ, TN-O. Toby’s agility career was short lived as he was diagnosed with EPI and a week later with Addison’s. The stress of trials and traveling made it too hard to control his meds. Toby still plays agility at home and loves it.
MIKA, Foxlane’s Mika at Tweeddale, AX, AXJ, OF, AD. Mika was born for agility. She is ready at all times to play the game. I call her my Border Collie in a Beardie suit. She is fast and keeps me on my toes at all times. I’m hoping she may one day qualify for the USDAA Nationals.
When not doing agility I am a graphic artist. Also to support my agility addiction I make dog toys, leashes, and I designed/patented and manufacture the Hooligan Tunnel Wraps.
